Dr Peter Gourlas performs both General and Colorectal including Laparoscopic Surgery as well as Colonoscopy.
He completed his General Surgical Training and gained his FRACS in 2004, having done most of his training at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He travelled to Cambridge, England in 2005 where he did a fellowship in Colorectal Surgery. During this year he also attended a number of courses at St Marks Hospital in London, and spent two weeks as an observer with the Colorectal Unit at The Cleveland Clinic, Ohio.
He is currently appointed to the Colorectal Unit at Princess Alexandra Hospital as well as his work at Greenslopes Private Hospital. His main interest is in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery, as well as General Surgery.
